BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 10-16-2024
Offshore: Capt Pete Barwick of Bounty Bay PSJ charters has been tearing up the Red Snapper. He had another good week by putting several limits in the cooler One of our local fisherman, Spencer Wheeless Took a group 25 miles off shore and caught a nice 7 pound Trigger Fish and a limit of Amber Jacks.
Inshore: Captain Andy Bolger of Chum em Up Charters reports this week that the Pompano bite is heating up in the early morning on fish bites and sand fleas. Some really nice Redfish are being caught in the surf on chunks of cut bait and shrimp. Shark fishing has picked up as well with Lemons and Sandbar Sharks feeding heavy.
Freshwater : Catfish are doing well In the deeper holes on shrimp. David Brown and Charles Borders of Wewa had a good day on Tuesday with several 3 to 5 pounders caught. The rivers are starting to fall and cool so fishing is picking up.
